Petals: iconic Shadowline® nightgowns, robes & pajamas
When it comes to nylon sleepwear, few collections are as iconic as the Shadowline® Petals! It was first released in the 1980s and has remained our bestselling nightwear collection ever since – a testament to its fabulous quality, elegant design, and truly timeless appeal.
This popular Shadowline Lingerie collection gets its name from the beautiful rose embroidery which adorns the neckline, sometimes in contrasting color to really highlight it, and sometimes in same-toned thread for a subtler look.
All of these embroidered nightgowns, robes and pajamas are made from our signature Opacitrique® fabric, a US-made, 100% nylon tricot that’s exclusive to our brand. It’s soft, breathable, and has a fabulous drape, and is also known for being exceptionally opaque compared to typical nylon. If you’re looking for nylon pajamas or a nylon robe you can wear in front of the grandkids, Shadowline® Petals is it!
The first Petals styles ever to launch were the Short Flutter Sleeve Nightgown, the 3/4 Sleeve Short Robe, and the Short Sleeve Pajama Set, but we’ve added plenty of new designs since. There are now long button up robes and long nightgowns, sleeveless nightgowns, long sleeved nightgowns in both short and long lengths, and even a traditional bed jacket to choose from.
These ultra-comfortable nylon nightgowns, robes and pajamas also come in a wonderful array of colors, so there’s sure to be one (or two, or five…) you’ll love. Some of them have been around since the very beginning, such as Sapphire, but we’re also constantly refreshing the color selection with new options too. Many customers tell us they love Shadowline® nighties so much, they’ve collected them in all of their favorite colors over the years!
