Feel the Romance: The Silhouette Nylon Sleepwear Collection

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, we thought now would be the perfect time to introduce you to our most romantic sleepwear collection of them all: Silhouette.

What makes Silhouette so special? It’s all in the fabrics. This is our only collection to date that uses our exclusive Satintrique® nylon, a much lighter and floatier alternative to the Opacitrique® that the rest of our nylon sleepwear is made from.

At half the weight of Opacitrique®, Satintrique® is not only wonderfully diaphanous but it’s also ever so slightly sheer – particularly in the lighter colors. And to really turn the glamour up to a ten, we’ve finished it with a beautiful pearlescent sheen to give you just a hint of fairytale shimmer as you twirl and move around.

Of course, no romance-inspired lingerie or nightwear is complete without a little lace! For Silhouette, we paired this silky nylon with soft, stretchy European lace with a scalloped edge, and topped it all off with pearl-accented ribbon bows. Every design is also constructed with draped or gathered fabric, to really highlight and enhance the flowing fit of the nylon.

There are five gowns in the Silhouette collection, giving you a variety of lengths and hem styles to choose from (we think the tulip-hemmed nightgown is especially elegant!), as well as a coordinating robe and a pajama set. And all items are available in multiple colorways.

In ivory, the long gown and peignoir set is a very popular choice for honeymooning brides, and we recently made the same two pieces available in silver to bring a luxurious touch to any occasion, even if it’s just your everyday bedtime routine. After all, why not enjoy a little glamour every day at home? Other current colors include a gorgeous Peri Frost lilac, plus navy or black for a darker look that’s a touch less translucent. Though if you’ve got Valentine’s Day on your mind, perhaps it will be the vibrant red that most steals your heart.
